Woven tapestry a form of weaving that can be described as "Painting with Yarns". In this one day workshop we will weave a sampler of traditional and 3D techniques using a simple frame loom (which you can keep) and a variety of yarns (which will be supplied). At the end of the day, participants will have enough skills needed to produce their own work in the future. Tutor Hilary Charlesworth has been exhibiting and weaving rugs and tapestries for over 40 years. Her work can be seen on www.totallytextiles.co.uk
