Enjoy an uplifting evening of blues, folk, jazz, African grooves and much more from two outstanding guitarists.
John Etheridge is one of the world’s most respected guitarists. With over 50 years of live performance and recordings it is no exaggeration to say that his music spans a myriad of styles from Gypsy jazz to acid-rock and everything in between! He is still a member of the legendary Soft Machine and has collaborated with the violin legends: Stephane Grappelli and Nigel Kennedy. He is currently in a duo with the eminent classical guitarist John Williams. Tonight’s solo performance will be a chance to experience an intimate evening with John, who is not only an excellent raconteur, but arguably, as Pat Metheny once said: ‘One of the best guitarists'.
I never wanted to be a star, just a highly respected musician like John Etheridge
