Foxbridge is an acoustic duo with harmonies to pierce the soul. Honest, beautiful songs about the dusty rooms of life. Justin brings the experience of growing up in America with a hugely diverse musical background and Emily brings a touch of class and English refinement. Together they dive deep into the stories and characters of Foxbridge’s songs, combining two of the freshest and most spellbinding voices to bring them to life.
Having emerged from the vocalists of the band awarded as Portsmouth’s Original Artist of The Year 2019, Foxbridge has a distinctive sound that explores the worlds of folk-pop, Americana, and roots music. Experienced live performers, with previous BBC and local radio support.

Justin Capps
Growing up in various states across America, Justin’s rich background and diverse musical talent took root when he acquired a second-hand guitar from a yard sale. Since then, he has embarked on an extraordinary journey, earning a Ph.D. in Music and crafting an impressive collection of original compositions. Justin’s classical training forms a solid foundation, and he has previously ventured beyond folk-pop into the realms of musical theatre and jazz. This broad range of experiences has endowed Justin with a wholesome and awe-inspiring vocal tone, adding depth and richness to his performances.
Emily Walton
Emily grew up in Hampshire, England, with a deeply ingrained passion for the arts. She has a diverse background in dancing, art, and music. Trained in classical and musical theatre vocals, she possesses impressive vocal control and range. The captivating tone of her voice carries a unique warmth, acquired through her immersion in the world of improvisational jazz. Moreover, Emily possesses a talent for storytelling and songwriting, having co-authored numerous compositions that grace Foxbridge’s repertoire.
