Berkshire Printmakers’ step-by-step, hands-on screen-printing workshop invites participants to explore pattern-based printmaking inspired by the work of Yinka Shonibare CBE RA. Working with bold colour, layered imagery, and repeated design. Participants will create their own hand-cut stencils alongside Berkshire Printmakers’ collection of 30+ patterned screens to create original screen-printed artworks on paper. The workshop draws inspiration from Shonibare’s use of Dutch wax textiles.
Please dress for mess — wear an apron and bring an A3 portfolio to take your work home.
