Learn how to make a willow platter in a 2 hour course using mixed natural coloured willow. These are ideal for serving biscuits, bread, hot scones or for use to keep fruit on.
There will be two workshops during the day, one at 10.30am and the other at 1.30pm, you only need to book one.
Tutor Linda Mills started basket making in 2004 by attending a taster day at West Dean College to make a willow platter after which many more courses were taken and lots of practice of all the newly learnt skills. She started selling at events in Autumn 2009 and gave up her previous career to become a full time basket maker and willow sculptor in 2013.
Linda has been teaching workshops for 13 years using a mixture of different willow varieties.
