• A family enjoying Cobbles and Cogs at Milestones

Milestones Museum in Basingstoke is hosting a Steampunk weekend – Cobbles and Cogs - on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September. The living history museum will be hosting two days of steampunk family fun, with a themed market, games, fair rides and even a visit from Doctor Who’s T.A.R.D.I.S.

Visitors can browse fantastic trade stalls throughout the museum, with music from buskers and on the main stage, where host Duke Box will be bringing an abundance of buffoonery with games for all to enjoy!

This year, Authors Corner steps front and centre into the heart of the museum, with story performances and readings from visiting steampunk authors, hosted by Belinda Storyteller.

As well as everything Milestones Museum has to offer all year round, visitors will be able to enjoy art displays from Archibald’s Mechanical Marvel, and for the first time, Gary Nicholls brings his unique exhibition, the Imaginarium trilogy.

The Doctor Who exhibition will arrive with a T.A.R.D.I.S. console for taking selfies, a display of props and masks from the show and there will be a chance to meet a Doctor Who host.

Outside, visitors will find more fantastic trade stands, plus some modern fun fair rides. What's more, Cobbles and Cogs will bring the Curious House of Stories, a 40-seater mini theatre yurt for exclusive performances and workshops.

Cobbles and Cogs is included in the pay once visit all year admission price. For more information and to book tickets, please visit - https://www.milestonesmuseum.org.uk/tickets.
