Our work within Health and Wellbeing includes programmes that work with adults and young people who are experiencing mental health issues or who are socially isolated.

We have worked closely with partners such as the Hampshire’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Southern Health, North East Hants Recovery College and Combat Stress to provide creative engagement opportunities to support participants to grow their confidence, develop their emotional resilience and to increase their socialisation.

"Writing poetry allowed me to have a greater sense of understanding of my own mental health. Being able to share my work, thoughts and feelings gave me such a release I haven't been able to achieve in a very long time, it’s being able to have the confidence, and experiences like these, that made me feel like a good person, that I wasn’t just an emotionless robot and that I did care for the people I love"
