Terms and conditions for the TAG-A-TILE campaign.

All clay tiles remain the property of Hampshire Cultural Trust who manage the operations of Gosport Museum and Art Gallery (GMAG).

The clay tiles may differ in colour from those featured on our website, or from those displayed for promotional purposes.

Engraving will be carried out by an external party; and Hampshire Cultural Trust will endeavour to ensure that the work delivered is of high quality.

Each clay tile must have different text on each tile. If you have donated to three tiles, we can not facilitate wording which spans across all three tiles. Each tile must be treated separately.

Hampshire Cultural Trust will have complete control over the location and installation of the tiles and reserves the right to remove or relocate the tiles without liability, however, we will make every effort to keep the tiles in the location that they have been installed.

We anticipate that the tiles will be part of the courtyard for some years to come, but unforeseen circumstances can occur and HCT cannot guarantee their lifespan.

Any amendments to the text provided on the order form must be made within 10 working days of receipt of the confirmation email/ letter; thereafter HCT accepts no responsibility for changed or incorrect text.

Reasonable effort will be taken by Hampshire Cultural Trust to maintain the clay tile in a good condition; however, they may become worn or damaged over time owing to natural causes. No liability can be accepted for this by Hampshire Cultural Trust.

Hampshire Cultural Trust reserves the right to replace or refit damaged, stolen, or unfit tiles at our own discretion and expense.

Gift aided donations are subject to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) regulations. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Your tile must not be sold or resold.

Hampshire Cultural Trust or any permitted third parties may carry out general filming, live streaming, photography and sound recording in or about the venue during your private view; and your consent for this filming may be requested. Please advise venue staff if you do not with to participate.

Failure to adhere to our Terms and Conditions may result in the delay of the engraving and installation of your clay tile.

Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we manage your personal data

Hampshire Cultural Trust reserves the right to withdraw this campaign at any time without notice. In the unlikely event that this happens, we will inform all donors and the funds will go towards Hampshire Cultural Trust’s activities in Gosport.
