WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?

Tickets are available to purchase online across all Hampshire Cultural Trust venues. Tickets are also available to buy in-person at the museum or gallery. Existing ticket holders still need to book a day and time to visit - you will not be charged at checkout/on completion of your booking. Please make sure you provide the email address you originally booked with to ensure your ticket is still valid. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

WHAT DOES THIS INCLUDE?

Visitors can enjoy unlimited visits for 12 months from the date of ticket purchase.

WILL THERE BE ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL CHARGES?

No, not for normal museum entry, however, throughout the year there may be some events for which there will be an additional charge. These will be advertised on our website.

DOES THIS INCLUDE ALL EVENTS AT THE MUSEUM?

Certain events may be subject to an additional charge and may not be included in your ticket, please check individual events for more details.

WHAT IF I ONLY WANT TO VISIT THE MUSEUM ONCE? 

Your ticket is valid for one visit or 100! As a charity, a ticket which is valid for 12 months allows us to treat your purchase as a donation.

HOW CAN MY TICKET BE A DONATION?

By purchasing your ticket and selecting to Gift Aid, you are allowing us to treat your purchase as a donation. This enables us to reclaim the tax on your ticket price at 25p for every £1, at no extra cost to you.

CAN I GIVE MY TICKET TO A FRIEND TO USE?

No, all tickets are non-transferable, including children's, that is why we ask you for your personal details on purchase and why we will ask to see some ID on your return visits. If you are unable to provide matching ID, we reserve the right to refuse entry.

WHAT ID DO I NEED TO BRING?

You are required to bring proof of identification such as passport, driving licence, credit or debit card every time you visit the museum while your ticket is valid. Under 18s are not required to bring ID for entry to the museum.

DO I NEED TO BUY/ORDER ADMISSION FOR UNDER 5S?

No. All under 5s go free to the museum.

DO YOU OFFER CONCESSION TICKETS?

Yes, the following visitors qualify for a concession:

  • Students aged 16+
  • British military personnel (documents valid for proof of eligibility: current Defence Discount Service card, military ID or veteran military ID)
  • Senior citizens: of state pension age (66 years old and over as of 1 December 2020)
  • Disabled people In addition to a concession discount, disabled people are also entitled to free entry for one accompanying personal assistant (carer). If a disabled person requires more than one personal assistant (carer), the additional personal assistant(s) (carer{s}) is/are also entitled to free entry. If more than one personal assistant (carer) will be visiting, please contact the museum in advance so that we can accommodate your needs.
  • Those in receipt of Universal Credit (documents valid for proof of eligibility: letter from DWP [Department for Work and Pensions] confirming the award of Universal Credit or your most recent Universal Credit statement)

You may be asked to show proof that you qualify for a concession when you visit us, please bring relevant identification or appropriate documents with you.

Yes, you may be asked to show proof that you qualify for a concession when you visit us, so please bring relevant identification or appropriate documents with you.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNT TO NATIONAL ART PASS/ART FUND MEMBERS?

Yes, we offer 50% on adult or concession prices. Tickets can be purchased at the venue only and cannot be pre-purchased online. Proof of current membership is required.

I AM A MEMBER OF THE MUSEUM ASSOCIATION, AM I ENTITLED TO FREE ENTRY?

Yes, Museum Association members are entitled to free entry to Milestones Museum. Please bring proof of current membership with you when you visit.

WHAT PAPERWORK DO I NEED TO SHOW WHEN I VISIT THE MUSEUM? WHAT IF I LOSE MY PAPERWORK?

Your ticket will be issued via email as an e-ticket. You can either print this out and bring it with you, or display your e-ticket to a member of staff using your smartphone/tablet. If you lose your e-ticket, our staff will be able to search for you using the details you provided on purchase. This can be name, email address, post code etc.

CAN I BUY A FAMILY TICKET WITH A FRIEND AS THIS IS THE CHEAPEST OPTION?

Just as tickets are non-transferable to friends, the family ticket is intended solely for families.

CAN I USE THIS TICKET TO VISIT OTHER HAMPSHIRE CULTURAL TRUST VENUES?

Your ticket is only valid for entry at the museum you have purchased a ticket for.

WILL I BE ABLE TO USE IT DURING EXHIBITIONS?

Your ticket is valid for normal museum entry, where there is no additional charge for an event or exhibition. We may occasionally have events or exhibitions for which there is an additional charge.

WHY HAVE I RECEIVED AN ACCOUNT ACTIVATION EMAIL?

Accounts are created with our ticketing partner Spektrix and can be accessed at https://www.hampshireculture.org.uk/account. The account allows you to manage your personal details and review your purchase history with Hampshire Cultural Trust.

HOW CAN I RENEW MY TICKET?

Your ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase before it expires. When your ticket expires, you will need to purchase a new one either online or at the museum. Your ticket will not renew automatically.
